To ensure that the order goes smoothly, there are a couple things you could do: 1) Please ensure that the e-transfer amount is accurate. If it's not the correct amount, we'll have to contact you and get it sorted out. That would unfortunately slow down the process. 2) Please ensure that the e-transfer password is accurate. If we can't deposit the funds, we'll have to send you an email. You'll have to login to your bank again and fix things. Send us a new password... You get the picture, shipment will be delayed.
Please understand: We want to get your firearm out the door as fast as possible! But, we have to comply with all the federal and provincial rules, regulations and paperwork. Much, much paperwork... You can help make things faster and easier for you and us. A couple of things we have noticed: 1) Address For all firearms, please ensure that the "Ship to" address matches the "registered" address. The address that the government has on file for your license has to match the address we ship to. If not, the government will not allow the transfer of ownership of the firearm. 2) City of Birth For restricted firearms, please ensure that the city of birth your entered during the checkout process is the same as on your P.A.L. If it does not match EXACTLY, the government will refuse the transfer of ownership. 3) Expired Range Membership For restricted firearms, please ensure that your range membership is active. We have noticed that often, from January to April, memberships tend to expire. If it is expired, the government will refuse the transfer of ownership. 4) First Restricted Purchase Strangely, when clients purchase their first restricted firearms, the government process takes longer. We are not sure why. Your guess is as good as ours 🙂
